Safar Guide ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data when you use our mobile application and related services (the "Services").

Email address — if you choose to create an account (sign in via email OTP verification)
Feedback content — ratings, categories, and text you voluntarily submit through our in-app feedback form
Location data — precise and approximate location (with your permission) to display your position on the map during audio tours
Device information — device type, operating system, app version, and device identifiers
Usage data — app interactions such as screens viewed, tours started, audio playback actions, buttons tapped, and session duration
Crash logs and diagnostics — error reports, console warnings, uncaught exceptions, and unhandled promise rejections
Purchase history — records of in-app purchases made through Google Play or the Apple App Store

By default, our app creates an anonymous session when you first open it. You are not required to provide any personal information to use the core features of Safar Guide. Account creation (via email) is optional and only needed for certain features.
We do not sell your personal data. We may share your information with:
Service Providers — third-party services that help us operate the app (analytics, attribution, map rendering, email delivery, payment processing), as listed in the table above
Legal or Regulatory Authorities — if required or permitted by applicable law, court order, or governmental regulation
Business Transfers — in the event of a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction
Your data may be processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. For EU/UK users, appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses are used where required.

Purchase transaction records may be retained for up to 7 years as required by financial and tax regulations
All data is transmitted using encryption (HTTPS/TLS)
Session tokens are stored securely on your device using encrypted storage

Upon account deletion:
Deleted: Your email address, account profile, session data, and authentication records
Deleted: Purchase history records associated with your account
Retained: Anonymized analytics data that is no longer linked to your identity
Retained: Purchase transaction records as required by financial/tax regulations (up to 7 years)
Deletion requests will be processed within 30 days.
Our Services are not intended for individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, please contact us at the email address below.
On iOS, our app requests your permission before enabling tracking for attribution purposes (via Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework). You may grant or deny this permission, and you can change your preference at any time in your device's Settings.
On Android, tracking for attribution purposes is enabled by default in accordance with platform conventions.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. If changes are material, we will notify you through in-app messaging or other appropriate means.
